Cmed provide server hosting both in-house and through well-respected partners on industry-standard equipment. The managed security model and geographically-redundant nature of the Timaeus system help us ensure high availability of the system to key customers on a global basis.

Cmed's in-house hosting environment has been fully audited by major pharmaceutical companies, and recovery has been tested against long-term power failure conditions.

Backups are sent off site to both network-attached storage and fire-proof tape storage facilities. Every machine is monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by our on-site and off-site Nagios system. If a problem occurs our global support team is alerted by text message and e-mail within seconds.

Physical security is provided by a combination of radio keys and PIN-secured doors, and supported by on-site security staff. Network security is managed by SANS institute GCIH-certified professionals providing separate infrastructure for each sponsor.
